A workshop on marketing fundamentals & effective communication was conducted on 5 May 2016. The workshop aimed to help students to learn more about “Crossing the Chasm Challenge” organized as a “consulting style” competition, where students get to assist existing social enterprises in the region and win attractive prizes. To help students better understand the work scope for the competition, Dr Jacky Mussry, Deputy CEO, MarkPlus, Inc. gave a riveting presentation on “Marketing 101”. Ms Michelle Ong and Ms Michelle Goh, Consultants, APCO Worldwide hosted an engaging session titled “How to Make an Effective Communication Pitch”. The workshop also gave students an opportunity to interact with senior executives (who were engaged as mentors for the Challenge) from Akamai, Catalyst Health Asia, P&G and many more.
